Affiliate programme terms

These are the terms of the Seonis affiliate programme. They are short because the programme is simple, and they are written to be read rather than survived. Joining the programme accepts them. The commercial figures below are the ones shown on the programme page and in your affiliate dashboard; if they ever disagree, the dashboard is the one that pays you and the one to trust.

Who we are

The programme is operated by Fleeta Limited (trading as Seonis.AI), registered in England and Wales under company number 16675897, registered office 50 Princes Street, Ipswich IP1 1RJ, United Kingdom. Questions about the programme, a commission or a payout go to hello@seonis.ai and are answered by a person.

What you earn

Your share

35% of every payment a customer you introduced makes during their first 3 months, and 25% of every payment after that, for as long as they keep paying. There is no cap and no end date.

What it is calculated on

The amount actually charged, before VAT. Nothing is deducted for card fees, platform fees or currency conversion.

When a customer is yours

When they sign up within 60 days of clicking your link. The referral is recorded against their account at the moment it is created, so it survives a change of device, a cleared cookie and a long gap before they pay.

Which partner is credited

The most recent link clicked before sign-up. If two partners introduce the same person, the second one is credited, which is the ordinary rule in affiliate marketing and the one your dashboard reports against.

When it is approved

30 days after the payment clears. That is our refund window, and holding for it is what stops a commission being paid on a sale that is about to be reversed.

When it is paid

Monthly, once your approved balance reaches £50, by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer as you prefer. A balance under the minimum rolls over to the next month rather than being lost.

Refunds and chargebacks

A commission on a payment that is later refunded or charged back is reversed. If it has already been paid out, it is set against your next balance rather than invoiced back to you.

What is not allowed

Three things, and they are the only three. Each of them takes money from us for a customer we would have had anyway, or damages the name your readers trust.

Bidding on our brand

No paid search, on any network, on "Seonis", "seonis.ai", or any misspelling or close variant of either, alone or with another word. No paid placement that uses our name as the ad's headline or display URL. This is the single fastest way to lose an account, because it charges us for people already on their way to us.

Referring yourself

Your own accounts, your employer's or your company's accounts, and accounts opened from an address or a card that belongs to you are not commissioned. Nor is buying through your own link on somebody else's behalf. If you want to send us a business you actually know, that is our refer a friend programme and it is meant for exactly that.

Saying things that are not true

Do not invent figures, promise search rankings, describe the product as free rather than as a three-day trial, imply that we endorse or employ you, or impersonate Seonis in any way, including in a domain name, an app store listing or a social account. Coupon, cashback and loyalty sites need our agreement in writing first. If you are unsure whether a claim is fair, ask us; we will tell you plainly, including when the honest answer is that we have not proved it yet.

Everything else is fine and encouraged: reviews, comparisons against competitors, round-ups, tutorials, newsletters, video, podcasts, your own site, your own audience. You may say what you actually think, including the parts you do not like. A review that only praises is worth less to your readers and, in the end, to us.

Your link and your data

Your link carries an identifier the affiliate network issued. When somebody clicks it, that identifier is stored in a first-party cookie on seonis.ai for 60 days and, if they open an account, written against that account so the credit survives. Nothing about the person is passed to you: your dashboard reports counts, sales and commissions, and where a customer's identity would otherwise be visible it is shown anonymised.

Sign-ups you introduce are reported to the affiliate network under our own internal account identifier, never under the customer's email address. What we hold and why is set out in our privacy policy.

Ending it

Either of us may leave at any time and for any reason. If you leave, or we close your account for anything other than a breach of the section above, you keep every commission already approved and every one still in its holding period, and they are paid on the normal schedule. If an account is closed for brand bidding, self-referral or misrepresentation, unpaid commissions connected to that conduct are forfeited, and we will tell you which ones and why.

We may change these terms and the rates. A change to a rate applies to sales made after we publish it, never retrospectively, and partners with a balance are emailed before it takes effect. Rates changed without notice would make the whole programme worthless to plan around, which is the opposite of the point.

The boring paragraph

You are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent or representative, and nothing here creates a partnership or joint venture. You are responsible for your own tax and, where it applies to you, for disclosing that your links are affiliate links. Our liability under this programme is limited to commissions properly due and unpaid. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.
